The Basecoat Gel Polish

The Edge Basecoat Gel Polish is the essential first step for a flawless, long-lasting manicure, designed to create the perfect foundation for gel application.

Step 1: Gently file the topcoat with a 180-grit nail file to break the seal, taking care not to file the natural nail.

Step 2: Saturate a removal wrap with gel remover or 100% acetone. Secure around the nail and leave for the recommended removal time.

Step 3: Remove the wrap and gently lift away loosened gel with a suitable cuticle tool. Do not scrape or force off any remaining product.

Step 4: If necessary, rewrap and soak until the remaining gel can be removed safely.

Step 5: Finish with cuticle oil.
