    • Provides a strong yet flexible finish, allowing clients to grow their natural nails
    • Thicker viscosity allows for precise application with minimal need for filing
    • It's versatile and can be used as a base for gel polish, a structured overlay of their natural nail or small extensions using tips or sculpting forms
    • Easy to remove and soak off, minimising damage to the nail plate
    • Odour-free, ideal for use in busy salons or public spaces
    • Work smart with gel - the more you work with the gel, the runnier it becomes. Let gravity assist you by allowing it to self-level.
    • Free edge care - be mindful of the free edge. Avoid overloading it with the product, which can cause lumps.
    • Add a clear base - if you client's nails are flexible and thin, add a layer of The Edge Basecoat in place of the first builder gel layer. This will act as a flexible buffer between the bendy nail plate and the hard product, giving more flexibility.

    Builder Gel FAQs

When applied correctly and manicure is well cared for, builder gel can last 2-3 weeks.

When the builder gel begins to grow out, you can infill it just like you would with acrylic or remove the set and apply another straight away, provided the nail is still in good condition.

Yes, Builder Gel can be used with tips. Builder Gel is a very versatile product, so you can use it to create a variety of different nail looks. If you're using Builder Gel with tips, we recommend applying Builder Gel to the nail and tips, then apply the tip before curing under a UV or LED lamp to keep it in place.

Our builder gel is for professional use only - we recommend using on clients:

    • With weak, brittle, or easily breaking nails.
    • Who frequently experience chipping or peeling of the free edge.
    • Who want to improve the overall health and appearance of their nails.

Builder Gel is not your enemy! In fact, it can be a great way to strengthen and protect your natural nails. Our gentle formula is easy to apply and remove, minimising the risk of damage. Enjoy a long-lasting, beautiful finish with our vegan and cruelty-free Builder Gel.

Builder gel can help reinforce and protect weak or damaged nails, allowing them to grow out more securely.

You can apply builder gel to damaged nails, but it requires some care and caution - it's best to carry out a consultation on the nails prior to treatment to understand the scale of damage to nails.

Nails with peeling, slight thinning, or mild ridges - builder gel can usually be applied safely to protect and add structure.

Extremely thin, split or infected nails are best to avoid builder gel until the nails have healed, as applying gel on severely damaged nails can cause additional stress or infection.

Both acrylic and builder gel offer the potential for creating beautiful manicures. However, the best choice ultimately depends on the individual client's natural nail strength. A thorough assessment of their nails is crucial before determining the most suitable option."
