I’ve found this is the best nail wrap for mending my nails if I get a catch or they split. You receive a good sized strip of wrap , that can be cut to the required size (I tend to cover the whole nail), but found about 18 months. It has a sticky side which makes applying much easier.

Three layers of this silk wrap silk glued down and hardened with The Edge resin has allowed my finger nails to survive hours of hard strumming and picking on steel strings. Very impressive products. The silk is slightly sticky and comes with a peel-off paper backing. Position and press the silk down on the nail and soak it with the liquid resin, dry with a hardener spray or leave briefly to set then add another layer. When all the wanted layers are dry trim with scissors and file smooth with a fine Emory board.
